Hi Edna,
I am reminded of Mike Davis's book -whose title illudes me- but whose content was related to the effect that the monsoons had on the costal populations of India in the early 1800's and which bordered on political intrigue and suspence. Take care.

After the fullness I felt from reading Rodger Kamenetz's book dealing with a Jewish delegation visiting Dharamsala, Fernandes' book is all that same color, but perhaps better to identify the Indian condition. My bro visited Cochin, and stood outside the Jewish graveyard--even this is a perspective for the "in" granted by this Kerala book. l'cha toda

I have read the short version of your Book THE HOLY WARIORS, and found it to be very interesting. So much so that I have decided to purchase the Book, when I return back to London, from my British Columbia, Canada, home. I work in London, U.K. and commute back and forth once every 5 months, spending 1 month, on each commute with my family who are all based here, in North Delta, BC.

It was also a matter of pride to me to know and read a Book written by a fellow Goan. I hail from Benaulim, Salcete, Goa. Keep up the good work and keep the Flag of Goa, flying high.

Thanks plus very best regards.
